(1) Actively Controlled Mechanical Metamaterials

The Flexible Research Group is seeking to hire a graduate student to conduct research involving the creation of a new kind of metamaterial that utilizes actuators, sensors, and control circuitry to achieve desired properties.

Eligibility to apply:

Candidates must be UCLA graduate students to apply
Candidates must have experience with control theory and circuit design
Candidates must be comfortable with projects that involve hands-on hardware
